City of Imagination
Artist book (ed. 3, 170p. color-laser copy, hardcover), produced on the occasion of ‘The Art of Inhabitation’, project/show at Galleria Huuto, Helsinki december 2006.
The book consists of 160 images of Rotterdam, coming from different sources like newspaper clippings, promotion materials, postcards, and images that I mixed with my own images of Rotterdam taken between 2001 and 2006.
The book formed a starting point for both the installation ‘City of Imagination’ at the Historical Museum (july 2006 - feb 2008) and the book ‘Phantom City’, that will be published in January 2008.
